For example, some one is having problems with a computer that is running slow and/or is stopping and giving error messages.  He/she is told the problem might be registry corruption.  Without the free registry checker offer from a computer registry cleaner company, the potential customer woiuld have to buy a good registry cleaner just to find out if this is the problem.  If it is an older computer, it may be wasted money if it is later found the computer has a major problem.

Even worse is the fact the computer owner might get a free registry cleaner.  These are inferior programs that may do more harm that good!

It is my opinion everybody should have a good registry cleaner and a good spyware cleaner if he or she has windows XP or a newer operating system like Vista.  The amount of grief checking regularly for spyware and registry corruption can save is immeasurable.

Still, the free registry checker aspect of a registry cleaner program is a very nice feature.
