XP Registry Cleaners
XP registry cleaners are usually made to be compatible with Windows 2000 as well. This because both Windows XP and Windows 2000 use NTFS file systems whereas Windows ME, 98 and 95 use FAT32. However, many of the registry
cleaner program writers make these programs capable of figuring out what operating system it is operating under and then adjust their instruction to be compatible with it.
This means many registry cleaners are capable of scanning and repairing most Windows platforms. Windows Vista is another animal. Many registry cleaner program writers haven’t been able to get their scripts Vista ready. However, the top notch ones have and most of these elite registry cleaners are Windows XP and Vista ready.
