Window 98 Registry Cleaner

Posted by Best Registry Fixer . Filed under Computer Registry Cleaner | Comments Off

The beauty of a Window 98 registry cleaner is you don’t have to seek out a registry cleaner that is Vista ready or Vista certified.  On the other hand, there are more and more registry cleaners that are not compatible with Windows 98.  In other words, some of the newer ones are compatible with Windows XP and Vista and that is all!  Some of them are compatible as far back only as Windows 2000.  So, these would be ready to scan and repair Windows 2000, XP andMore display corruption
Vista.

I know, some of you techs are going to say Windows ME came out after 2000.  This is true but Windows 2000, XP and Vista use NTFS file systems while Windows 95, 98 and ME use FAT file systems. So, registry cleaners often leave Windows ME out when they are only ready for the newer operating systems.

Still, there are plenty of Windows 98 registry cleaners still around.  Sometimes, using one is the only way to get a Windows 98 machine back on its feet.  After all, There weren’t the excellent registry cleaners around to take care of this older OS throughout most of its lifespan.  So, by now, chances are a computer running Windows 98 could really be very bogged down with registry corruption and might be running slower than molasses.  The best 98 compatible registry cleaner will be sure to get it going as strong as ever.
