Registry Cleaning Programs

By: Best Registry Fixer - In: Registry Fixer

18 Jan 2010

Registry clean programs have become an important part of PC upkeep tool over the last several years.  The reason for this is because many times, as a total surprise, a computer will become slow and will possibly even freeze on occasion.  Often this happens because problems have crept up in the Windows operating system’s registry.

A Windows based operating system has a hierarchal data base.  It is this data base that is known as the registry. Data about anything the operating system has to work with, either internally or externally is contained in the registry.  Windows has to have access to a good clean registry to do even the smallest job.

Computers and the software that runs on them need to be told exactly what to do.  A sort of miscommunication can happen when bits of non-conforming data called registry corruption interfere inside the registry. The aftermath is information that moves more slowly inside the computer’s software.

Worse yet, these unneeded bits often lead the central processing unit to look for information that just isn’t there.  This means it has to backtrack and keep looking until it discovers the information it really requires.  Needless to say, this step will make your computer take a lot longer to complete its operations. On top of that, when the operating system has to be constantly backing up to find the correct registry data, the computer will have a tendency to have errors, crashes and/or freeze-ups.

Employing the services of registry cleaning programs will most times end these problems because it cleans the corruption out of the registry allowing the free flow of information to resume.

Registry cleaning type software products are also known as registry cleaners and if you haven’t tried one until now to fix problems, such as a slow computer or a computer that crashes, it is probably a good time to get a free scan with one to find out if it is indeed registry corruption behind the mysterious actions of your PC.

A good registry cleaning program will scan through the Windows registry looking for and finding bits of registryErasing Registry Corruption corruption.  When it finds this bad data, the cleaner will erase it from the registry altogether.  This is necessary because it is these bad bits of misinformation that has been slowing down your computer and possibly even causing freeze-ups, errors and crashes.   .

Once this corruption is no longer getting in the way of the computer’s internal information flow, it will return to running the way it did before all the corruption started to accumulate.

My Computer is Slow, Why?

By: Best Registry Fixer - In: Registry Fixer

16 Jan 2010

Few things can be more frustrating than trying to figure out why your computer has gotten so slow!  The only thingWhy My Computer is not Working that might be more aggravating is probably the slow computer itself. Your computer can be humming along one day, and the next everything goes bad as it crawls along and seems to take forever to save a file or perform some other simple task.

If it’s up to you to seek a solution, you may think you’re in over your head before you even start. So before tossing your computer out the nearest window, pause for a moment. The solution to your problem might not be all that daunting after all.

Eliminate the Easy Possibilities

To implement a slow computer fix requires troubleshooting to locate the source of the problem. Have you a lot of applications open? Are you running the minimum amount of memory called for by the software applications you use? Have you downloaded files from a website that could have planted a virus deep inside the operating system?

If you have concluded nothing out of the ordinary has been done to the PC, and you’re pretty sure this computer slowness just kind of crept up on you, it is time to take a look at the Windows registry. The registry is a very important part of Windows because the OS visits the registry to get needed information for every operation it performs.

Registry Problems are Prevalent in PC’s Today

Hardware problems are not nearly as common as Windows registry problems, so checking out the registry is just logical.  Yes, if it is possible your hard drive is full you should take a look into that because a full hard drive leaves no room for swap files and this will slow a computer down substantially.  You can see how much space is left on your drive by clicking the start button, then computer (or My Computer) and simply taking a look.

Still, a registry that has accumulated inaccurate bits of information is much more likely to be the culprit when a computer has lost its speed.  This because the registry is in the middle of all your operating system’s processes.

 The Registry is a Director

A computer and anything that is installed on it, needs exact directions about what it should do. A kind of miscommunication can occur when bits of non-conforming data crash the registry’s party. The consequence is information that moves more slowly from place to place inside the PC.

A registry can be likened to a policeman directing heavy traffic.  The traffic the registry is directing is between the computer’s software and its hardware.  If the policeman does an inadequate job, traffic will stop.  If he/she performs a dreadful job, there will be an accident.  The faulty signals the cop may be flashing can be compared to incorrect bits of information in the registry.

In some cases, bad bits of information make the operating system perform operations that are totally useless.  Even worse, the OS must do these operations several times before it times out and moves on.  You can see how this will make a computer seem as if it is actually very slow.

When a meaningful measure of useless or unwanted data assembles inside the registry, the computer’s functioning will be impaired.  If a good registry cleaner is employed, this kind of bad data will be wiped out.  This will permit the operating system to operate without restraint and so the PC will have the ability to accomplish its undertakings in a speedy manner.

Registry Cleaners Review

By: Best Registry Fixer - In: Computer Registry Cleaner

9 Dec 2009

Browsing Registry Cleaner ReviewsWe all want our computers to run at their best.  No one wants a computer that is slow and/or pops up error messages constantly.  In recent years it has become evident that in order to have such a finely tuned computer it is necessary to keep the operating system”s registry in top shape.  And, in order to do that we need to use a good registry cleaner regularly.

So, just how do we know which registry cleaner is the best one to do the job of keeping our registries pristine?  Many times the only way to get true insight as to which is the best registry cleaner is to refer to a registry cleaners review.

You can find a registry cleaners review on many websites all over the Internet. Registry cleaners are a topic of great interest for many people. When you stop to think that it is software that literally millions of PC users can benefit from and will at some point likely need, you begin to understand all the attention that registry cleaners receive. A cleaner is an important item that should be part of every serious PC user’s toolbox of problem solving software.

The people who write a registry cleaners review will no doubt have much to say on the subject. These reviews can be helpful as you consider obtaining a registry cleaner to use on your PC. If you are not familiar with the operating system registry within Windows, it is a key component that your computer relies on for exchanging information accurately with the software you are using.

Reading a registry cleaners review can be a helpful way to come to an informed decision as to what cleaner software is best for you. While there can certainly be some bias on the part of the reviewer, it’s generally easy to pick up on and usually not very important. This is especially true when the review is one where the cleaners have actually been used in field testing by the reviewer as part of the reviewing process.

For the most part, reviewers will maintain their objectivity and base their thoughts entirely on how well the cleaner performs on their own PC. Because these reviewers more than likely have no stake in the company that makes the cleaner, they will speak honestly about their experience using it and provide you with valuable information that would otherwise be difficult to get.

Edit Registry Software

By: Best Registry Fixer - In: Registry Fixer

6 Dec 2009

Edit registry software or registry editing software comes in a software package known as a “regedit.  Regedit is contained within all Windows operating systems and can be accessed by entering its name “regedit” in the run box.  The run box is usually found at the bottom of the start command menu.

I say usually because the run box does not show up in the start menu of Windows Vista by default.  So, here is how to put the Run box in the Vista start menu:

  1. Click Start and then Control Panel
  2. Double Click the icon that says “Taskbar and Start Menu
  3. The Taskbar and start menu properties box opens up
  4. Click the tab on the top that says Start Menu
  5. Click the button to the left that says “Customize”
  6. Scroll down until you see “Run command”
  7. Click to put a check mark in the box to the left of “Run command”
  8. Click OK at the bottom of the Customize box
  9. Click OK at the bottom of the  Taskbar and start menu properties box
  10. Click start and notice the Run command is now in the right hand coulomb of the start menu
  11. Click “Run…” and you will see the run box opened up

However, and this is a big however; there is a reason Microsoft is trying to make it difficult to use the run box.  The main reason is so we don’t use “Regedit!”  The Regedit program lays out the whole registry right before us.  This makes it possible to to enter anything into our registries or delete anything from them.omputer is unusable

The wrong entry made or an important one deleted from our registry could spell disaster!  In other words, one little tiny mistake could made while using Regedit could cause the operating system to lock up altogether and render our computer useless until we reformat the hard drive and re-install an operating system on it.

The bottom line is don’t fool around with Regedit.  there is no reason to.  There may be a reason why a Microsoft Certified Engineer might want to play around in Regedit but there is no reason we should.  Anything you can do in Regedit you can do in the Control Panel; like put the run command in the start menu, for instance.  Or, change screen colors and users, etc.

If there is something wrong with the registry, just use a registry cleaner, that’s all.   A registry cleaner will take care of any registry problem you may have and it will keep your PC fast and free of errors and crashes.

Registry Clean Up Software

By: Best Registry Fixer - In: Computer Registry Cleaner

25 Nov 2009

Registry clean up software is used regularly in PC’s today to keep them functioning at their full potential.  Without cleaning the registry periodically, a Windows operating system’s registry will become bogged down by registry corruption

Girl on LaptopRegistry corruption will make a computer run slowly.  Sometimes a computer affected by a substantial amount of corruption will make a PC become slow to the point will become drudgery to use.  By this, we mean it will be so slow after the mouse is clicked, the computer will just seem as if it is just sitting there totally unresponsive.

Actually, inside the computer things are happening and they are happening at lightning speed.  The problem is registry corruption is causing the operating system to perform millions of useless and even counterproductive operations.  So, to the outside world, it looks as if the PC is waiting idly for several minutes to answer the call of the mouse click.

There is probably nothing worse than a dreadfully slow computer but if there were, a computer that freezes crashes and spits out computer error messages may be at least, just as bad!  Oddly enough, when a computer is doing these things, the culprit behind it all may well be registry corruption as well!

So, you can easily see using registry clean up software is not only wise, it really is necessary.  Though this was not the case a few years ago, changes to the way today’s operating system interpret instructions and to the vast amount of information they handle has made registry corruption a real menace to the inner workings of  the Windows OS.

Registry clean up software comes in a package we most commonly refer to as a registry cleaner.  There are several around these days, but there are just a few that can be considered reliable.  So, chose your registry cleaner wisely.

The good news is using the right registry cleaner will get and keep your computer running at top speed and free of registry errors, freezes and crashes!  So, being equipped with one is highly recommended for anyone using a PC that uses a Windows XP or newer operating system.

Older operating systems, like Windows 98, for instance also have trouble with registry corruption from time to time.  However, these earlier OS’s are not affected quite as negatively to it.  So, the bottom line is newer operating systems need to have their registries cleaned periodically in order to keep them running at full tilt.  With the older ones registry corruption occurs on more of a case by case basis.  It is for this reason many people who have been computer owners for many years were never aware of problems that can be caused by corruption in the registry.

Windows Cleanup Software

By: Best Registry Fixer - In: Registry Repair Tools

16 Nov 2009

A Windows cleanup software program by today’s standards is the same as any regular registry cleaner.  The cleanup programs of old were the programs that deleted little used applications on the computer’s hard drive so some free space could be freed up.

Such programs always came installed on Windows operating system but there were other third party programs claiming to do the same thing only better.  These programs cleaned the hard drive, but not the registry.

Windows registry cleanup software or registry cleaning software scans the Windows operating system’s registry locating incidents of missing and corrupt registry files as it does.  Once it locates this “registry corruption,” it repairs and replaces all the problem files.

It is noteworthy all Windows operating systems have registries, even the very early ones and yes, Windows 7 has a registry as well.  It is also noteworthy that there many registry cleaners around these days that are not at all helpful and may actually even be dangerous to your computer!   However, using a good registry cleaner is necessary simply because keeping corruption out your computer’s registry is necessary.  Here is why:

Registry corruption will cause a computer to slow down,  There are occasions where this corruption will slow the computer down to such a degree it will be impossible or next to impossible to use.  Registry corruption will also sometimes, cause computer errors and on some occasions will make a computer freeze up or crash altogether.

So, for the small expense a registry cleanup program incurs, it is well worth it to use one to prevent these things from happening  and repair the damage that has already been done.  Repairing this damage will get your computer back toRelaxed Computer User its top speed and put an end to the errors, crashes and etc.

The point is only a good registry cleaner will do the job right.  There are those on the market that will not.  So, only buy the best.  Frankly, out of the multitude of registry cleaning software programs available today, there are only a few I would trust!

The good news is; you can relax if your computer is free of registry corruption because since most computers already have spyware and virus protection installed on them, you can be sure your PC will be at its best when you have a registry cleaner working along side your spyware/virus protection!

Of course, if you don’t have virus/spyware protection for some reason, that changes he scenario.  A virus or spyware will steal your computers resources and cause your computer to slow down and and operate poorly in a wide variety of ways.

Registry Error Cleanup

By: Best Registry Fixer - In: Registry Fixer

11 Nov 2009

Performing a registry error cleanup on a PC using a Windows operating system is a necessary procedure that should be followed from time to time.  This is because Windows operating systems use a data base structure known as a registry and this data base, if not kept clean of corruption, can cause a computer to perform poorly; sometimes very poorly.

Over time, a Windows registry tends to accumulate entries which are no longer pertinent to the PC’s information flow.  This will cause the operating system to needlessly perform operations, realize they are dead-end operations and then go back to the registry to look for the next instruction. Obviously, performing such nonproductive operations are a waste of time and make a computer seem to be stalling or at least, going very slow.

Along with accumulating non-pertinent information, Windows registry entries tend to corrupt over time.  Registry entries will be read and acted upon by the operating even if they are inacurate.  This will cause it to perform more errant operations.  In other other words, the operating system doesn’t have the ability to to see registry corruption as false or unhelpful information.  It does not simply say, “this is corruption so I will ignore it.”  Instead, the operating system reads the bad registry information as if it were accurate and follows the instructions no matter how wayward they might be.  Once again, performing these types of instructions will do nothing except waste time.

Along with non-pertinent and corrupt files, Windows registry files, for a number of reasons get deleted from time to cleanuptime.  Deleted registry files will make an operating system back up and perform the last operation over and over again until by chance it finds itself going in the right direction past the stumbling block of the missing registry file.

It is easy to see, how repeating operations 100’s of times will make a computer look slow to its user.  Actually, on the inside, the computer is going as fast as ever.  However, performing all these nonproductive and useless operations make the computer operator have to wait for the proper instruction to be completed.  Sometimes this wait can be excruciatingly long!

Regular registry error cleanups repair non-pertinent and corrupt files.  Cleanups will also replace missing registry files. The end result of cleaning a Windows registry will be restoring the computer’s speed to fast.  Also, a computer that was getting computer errors will be restored to normal behavior after a good registry cleanup.

The only way to perform a registry error cleanup is to run a top notch registry cleaner.  The registry cleaner should be run periodically not only to repair the bad registry files that already exist, but as preventive medicine to keep the PC running fast and without the interuptions of freezes, errors and crashes.

Clean System Registry

By: Best Registry Fixer - In: Computer Registry Cleaner

5 Nov 2009

You should never attempt to clean system registry files manually.  There was a time this was the only way to clean a Windows operating system, but thankfully, now there are software packages that will perform this very tedious procedure automatically.

Cleaning a registry manually involves using the Windows built-in  software program, “regedit.”  Regedit can be enteredaynı dakikada hata...
by through “start-run” and entering regedit in the run box.

The bad news is when registries were repaired in this way, many times there was more harm than good done.  Bear in mind, harm to a Windows registry could mean the end of the operating system altogether!

The advantages to using a commercial registry cleaner over using regedit are too numerous to mention.  For sure, the biggest advantages are:

  1. A registry with hundreds of incidents of corruption will be repaired by a registry cleaner in a few minutes, whereas it would take hours to clean two or three incidents using regedit.
  2. If you use one of the more dependable registry cleaners you hve no worry whatsoever of destroying your registry.  If you try to clean it manually, you better be very careful  because cleaning the registry this way has spelled the demise of many computers!

Registry Clean Repair

By: Best Registry Fixer - In: Registry Fixer

30 Oct 2009

A registry clean and repair utility is better known as a registry cleaner.  A registry cleaner will scan a Windows operating system’s registry thoroughly.  When doing so it takes note of any bad, missing, incomplete or inaccurateAn error has occurred in this dialog.
files it finds.  Then, it will rescan the registry repairing and replacing these problem files as it scans.

Windows registries need to be cleaned and repaired periodically because of the tendency a Windows registry has toward building problem with files that become  ”corrupt.”  Registry corruption simply refers to registry files that are missing, incomplete or inaccurate.

The affect registry corruption has is it will make a computer operates very slowly or cause computer errors to pop up.  Using a registry cleaner will restore the computer’s speed and put an end errors.

Registy Invalid

By: Best Registry Fixer - In: Registry Fixer

28 Oct 2009

Registry invalid message errors are not seen as much these days as they were a few years ago.  Usually a “registry Invalid” is the result of an entry made into the registry that is not compatible with that registry.

control pannelBecause today’s versions of “Control Panel” in Windows interfaces operate so accurately and error free a ”registry invalid has become somewhat rare.

The two ways this type of message will be seen in computers using Windows XP and newer are:

  1. An errant entry was added to the registry using the Windows built in registry editor “regedit.”
  2. A program or device driver that didn’t match the operating system was installed.  For instance, a  software program that is compatible with Windows ME was installed on a computer using Windows XP.
